The other entry point to Bhutan is by road through Phuentsholing in the south, a border town in Bhutan. This frontier town is about 4 hours drive from Baghdora Airport and 5 -6 hours drive each from Kalimpong, Darjeeling and Sikkim, West Bengal in India.
Paro and Thimphu are about 6 hours drive from Phuentsholing and share the same road until you reach a bifurcation road at Chundzom check post. From this check post, it is about 1 hour drive each to Paro and Thimphu.
